My interests centre around how species respond to a changing climate, how ecosystems may change in the future as a result of anthropogenic climate change, and how these can be preserved. My research this year is looking at regional patterns in naturalisation and invasion success and the macroecological factors that determine this success. The data from which comes from the Forestry compendium, a large online database with data on thousands of forestry species and the regions they are found in. The aim of the year is to find patterns in the success of introduced species and the regions in which they are found.
