Harriet Newhouse
My main interests lie in conservation biology and the impacts of climate change on biodiversity, however I am also passionate about public education and public engagement with science.

My current research aims to identify the key drivers of global ecotourism.  I will propose a novel use for stochastic optimisation algorithms to highlight priority conservation sites for ecotourism based on cost-benefits statistics. By modelling the future distribution of species under predictions of climate change, I aim to model how ecotourism patterns might change in the future.
